Emile Ripert- His Life- His Work Home Since our grandfather, Emile Ripert passed away in 1948, the house where he used to work has stayed untouched : the chair is by his desk, his books are on the shelves and the old trunk he used on his travels to America is still full of notes, diaries and old newspapers. Everything is the way he left it, as if he had left us yesterday, even some of his mail still needs sorting.

family country house

This small one-room-house where he used to spend his time reading, writing and working on his poems is surrounded by nature and despite the lack of any facilities he would find peace and quiet there with nature as an ever-changing and inspiring set.

Let us follow his steps into his universe…
